Brantford man charged with murdering his father

A Brantford man is facing murder charges in connection with the death of his father.

Police say 54-year old Donald MacNeil was found dead with multiple stab wounds in his home on Wayne Drive near King George Rd. in Brantford early Tuesday morning.

Police charged 19-year-old Malcolm MacNeil with first-degree murder and failing to comply with bail conditions.

The Brantford Police Service Major Crime Unit continues to investigate the incident.
