Boy struck by cruiser in Brampton

Ontario’s police watchdog is investigating, after an eight year old boy was struck by a police cruiser in Brampton Monday morning.

The boy was taken to hospital with a broken leg.

The Special Investigations Unit says it happened when two cruisers were responding to call near Dixie Road and Bovaird Drive at 8:45 am.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.
