Boston Bruins legend Patrice Bergeron announces retirement

One of the greatest Boston Bruins’ of all time is hanging up his skates.

Number 37 – Patrice Bergeron – has announced his retirement from the game after 19 seasons in the NHL.

The Stanley Cup champion is one of the top defensemen of recent years, winning the Selke Trophy six times – four of which were consecutive.

Bergeron is often referred to as one of the most respected players in the game – players, coaches, and fans alike singing his praises.
