Bosma’s cell phone found in Brantford industrial area
Updated Hamilton Police have some new developments in the case of missing Ancaster man, Tim Bosma.
Late yesterday afternoon, police found Tim Bosma’s cell phone in west Brantford. They’ve searched the area extensively and haven’t located any other items. There is a heavy police presence at Highway 2 and Oak Park in Brantford this afternoon.
Police have also discovered that the two men who test drove Bosma’s vehicle also test drove a similar truck in Toronto. The owner of that truck added more detail to the description of one of the suspects.
The first suspect is white, about 6’1″, about 175 pounds. He’s in his mid twenties, unshaven, with light to medium brown hair. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and running shoes. The man from Toronto says this suspect has a distinctive tattoo on the top of one of his wrists. It’s the word ambition, framed in a box.
The second suspect is also white and in his mid twenties. He’s roughly 5’9″, small to medium build with dark hair. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
Police have determined that Bosma’s truck was seen in Brantford on Monday, May 6th, shortly after 10 pm in the city’s downtown. Police are asking businesses in Brantford for their security video to determine where the truck travelled before and after it was sighted.
Police have set up a special tip line for anyone with information on Tim Bosma: 905-546-2100. They can also submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
