Testimony started today from Dellen Millard’s former girlfriend at the Tim Bosma murder trial and today the jury learned that Christina Noudga has a terrible memory. It was the first day on the stand for the crown’s last witness and she was grilled by the crown.
She doesn’t remember anything about what happened before May 6, 2013, when Tim Bosma when missing. She told the jury she only prepared with her lawyer to talk about May 6th onwards.
The jury saw pictures of her bedroom, which she described as embarrassingly messy. That’s where police found, in her bedside table, letters that had been written to her by Dellen Millard while he was in jail for Tim Bosma’s murder. They also found a DVR of surveillance footage from the Millard air hangar. Noudga says she didn’t know what it was but Millard asked her to hold onto it when he picked her up May 9th. That was they day they took Tim Bosma’s truck, inside a fifth wheel trailer, to Millard’s mother’s house. Noudga says she didn’t know what was inside. It was awkward after they parked and Millard’s mother Madeleine Burns came out wondering why, Noudga said because she and Millard were really stoned.
They didn’t talk after they dropped the trailer and went to the hangar in Waterloo, Noudga says, because it was more a sexual exploit.
“He was driving and I was performing sexual favours on him,” she told the jury.
After they switched vehicles at the hangar they went to Millard’s farm and moved the incinerator into the trees. Noudga says Millard claimed it was making the floorboards squeak in the barn.
