Dellen Millard’s former roommate testified today that Millard was planning to steal a Dodge Ram 3500 around the time Tim Bosma went missing after posting a similar truck for sale online.

Andrew Michalski and another friend were living with Millard at the time of his arrest and he was directed by the other accused, Mark Smich, to get rid of all the drugs in the house when Millard was arrested.

Michalski testified that he helped Millard do internet searches for Dodge Ram 3500’s. On Saturday May 4th, Millard was looking at ads.
“He asked me if I should steal from the “a-hole” or the nice guy. I told him to “f” off. I didn’t think he needed a truck.” Michalski testified.

He said Millard and Smich did a test drive on the Sunday and Smich came back looking sick. Millard says that’s why they didn’t steal a truck that day but they planned another test drive. The day after Tim Bosma disappeared, Millard said “yes” when Michalski asked if he had gotten a truck.

Smich called Michalski after Millard’s arrest & told him to get drugs out of the house, meet with Matt Hagerman who was given a toolbox by Millard, and bring the items to Smich. In Oakville, Michalski and Hagerman dumped a backpack full of drugs and a toolbox alleged to hold the murder weapon in a stairwell in Oakville, and told Smich where to find them.

By that point the friends were aware that Millard was facing a far more serious charge than theft of a vehicle and they both testified they were panicking and just wanted to get rid of what they had. Michalski is back on the stand tomorrow.
