Border guards say shooting illustrates need for guns

Lori Bowcock, the Canada Border Services Guard who was shot in the neck at a crossing in B.C. is improving and is now in stable condition.

The man who fired at her then killed himself. Bowcock was unarmed. As Lauran Sabourin reports, some are wondering whether Bowcock could have protected herself if she had a weapon.
