Book about Rob Ford released

A highly anticipated book about Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s life hit store shelves Monday.
It’s written by Robyn Doolittle, one of the Toronto Star reporters who said she saw a video of Ford smoking crack cocaine. In the book, Doolittle writes about a recorded conversation that she says Ford’s wife had with a man in a Tim Hortons parking lot. According to Doolittle, Renata Ford spoke about how her husband said, “I’ll get off the pills, but I’m not giving up the blow.” This conversation allegedly took place not long after Rob Ford was elected to be Toronto’s Mayor. The book suggests Ford began using crack cocaine after his father died in 2006.
