Body found near Centre Island

Toronto police have recovered a body from Lake Ontario near Centre Island.

A kayaker reportedly spotted it.

Police say it appears the body had been in the water for several days.

So far, police have not confirmed its identity.

A 35 year old boater went missing July 17th.

It’s believed he fell overboard and drowned not far from Cherry Beach.

His body had not been found.
