Body found in Lake Ontario

Halton police say a body found in Lake Ontario in Oakville this morning has been deemed not suspicious.

The body of a woman was recovered after 10 on Saturday morning off the foot of the Water Works Park, about 20 metres offshore.

A representative from the coronors office was called to the scene, and a post-mortem is scheduled for Monday.
