Body found in Uxbridge pond

Durham police say a body has been found in a pond in Uxbridge.

Police confirmed it was found on a residential property in the area of Concession 7 and Davis Drive this morning.
The owner phoned police after he found the body once the pond began to thaw. The body was found face down, frozen in patches of ice covering the pond.
Police are investigating but haven’t released any more details.
