Bob Morrow Memorial

A memorial was held today to honour former Hamilton mayor Bob Morrow, who passed away early last week.
Family, friends and local politicians all joined together at Christ Church Cathedral on James St. N. to remember the former mayor.
Morrow was 71-years-old and was the city’s longest serving mayor.
He held the position from 1982 to 2000.
Morrow became a citizenship judge and filled-in as a city councillor after the death of councillor Bernie Morelli four years ago.
Morrow dealt with a number of health issues during the past year.
He is being remembered as an advocate for working people and as someone who loved the community.
