BMO’s gift to St Joe’s

A major boost to St Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton, with a $300,000 donation from BMO Financial Group.

BMO Group VP Andrew Furgal says the money will be used to renew the hospital’s newborn care clinic.
“There are thousands of babies born here every year and this will ensure a healthy start to each of them.”
St Joseph’s CEO, Dr Kevin Smith was just as enthusiastic:
“St Joe’s is one of the largest birthing centers in our country and one of a handful of hospitals designated as baby-friendly. This will ensure we continue to do a great job for mothers and children in our region.”
This is the largest gift ever presented by BMO to the Hamilton hospital.
