Blaze incinerates Niagara warehouse

Residents were evacuated from several homes after a spectacular blaze destroyed a large warehouse overnight in Niagara Falls.
Large flames quickly spread through the privately owned storage building on Fourth Avenue before one o’clock this morning. The flames were so intense, crews could only attack the fire from a distance without getting inside.
It’s believed the building was used to store furniture, electrical equipment, motorcycles and other materials. No injuries were reported.
There’s no word yet what sparked the blaze or a damage estimate. The fire marshall’s office has been called to investigate.
