Blaze consumes Brampton mansion

Firefighters are still on scene at a blaze in Brampton.

A mansion was completely engulfed in flames, but the blaze is winding down. It started just after 7 o’clock this morning on Goreway Dr. Fire crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading to neighbouring homes.

Platoon chief Dan Rowland told CHCH News about the homeowners’ reaction. “Given the significance of this fire, understandably they are quite upset about the loss of the house and property.”

No injuries have been reported. The cause is still under investigation.
