Blast destroys Mount Forest home

There was a huge blast inside a log home near Mount Forest.

Fire crews were at the home, south east of the Mount Forest city centre, all night putting out hot spots. The explosion happened in a mainly rural area. Debris was spread across the property with even some of the windows ending up in a tree.

Two people who were inside the house have been sent to hospital.

Damage is estimated at $300,000.
