Black Friday shopping

Years ago Black Friday was something only Americans experienced, but the shopping holiday has since seeped across the border.

Now Canadian retailers offer deep discounts for shoppers willing to brave crowded malls and even more crowded parking lots.

Shoppers say the craziness was worth it though, because the deals are great with name brands offering 40%-50% off the entire store at the Outlet Collections in NOTL.

Compared to an average Friday in November, the Outlet Collection sees a 90% increase in customers on Black Friday.

While the event is called Black ‘Friday’ many stores here will be offering deals all weekend long.
