Billy Mason murder trial

A key witness in the Hamilton murder trial of the man accused of killing Billy Mason was in court on Monday.

Jeremy Hall is charged with first degree murder in the 2006 killing of Mason.
The crown called Jason Lusted to the stand in the morning. Lusted was Hall’s alleged accomplice, and pled guilty to accessory after the fact in Mason’s murder in 2010. The crown will also try to prove that Hall tried to have Lusted killed before he gave his testimony.
