Eight people have been arrested in Hamilton following a drug investigation. Police say they searched two homes in central Hamilton on Thursday after receiving tips about drug trafficking.

They seized 20 thousand dollars worth of heroin, 13 thousand dollars worth of crack cocaine, more than 80 thousand dollars in cash and a loaded handgun.
