Two people from Stoney Creek and one from Hamilton have been charged with importing cocaine into Canada.

Police arrested 29-year old Jorge Alejandro Rodriguez-Oliva and 25-year old Nicolas Salciccioli both of Stoney Creek, as well as 40-year old Edson Ariel Rosales of Hamilton. They say a joint investigation that involved the RCMP, Canada Border Services Agency and Hamilton police dismantled an organized crime group allegedly involved in importing and trafficking cocaine into the greater Hamilton area. During a six month investigation, more than 5 kilos of cocaine was seized by CBSA officers at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. The cocaine originated from different South American destinations.
