At the ripe old age of 19, Justin Bieber claims he’s retiring.

He’s told Los Angeles radio station Power 106 he’ll be done after his new album. Bieber then suggested he hasn’t quite made up his mind, saying “I want to grow as an artist and I’m taking a step out, I want my music to mature”.

Bieber’s new album comes out next week. The suggestion could be a ploy to improve album sales — a source close to the star says he was only joking.
