Mississauga’s Bianca Andreescu didn’t disappoint as she faced Belgium’s Elise Mertens Wednesday. In a rematch of her US Open quarterfinal, the Mississauga native beat Mertens 6-3, 7-5 in a second-round match at the Chinese Open. It is Andreescu’s 15th winning match in a row.
