Beyonce gives birth to baby girl

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z are now proud parents of their first child.

There are reports the singer gave birth to a little girl Saturday night in New York City.

The couple has not officially confirmed the news, but a number of the singer’s friends and family have already welcomed the baby into the world via Twitter, including Rihanna and Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles.

There also seems to be a bit of confusion surrounding the baby’s name; it’s either Ivy Blue Carter or Blue Ivy Carter.

Jay-Z and Beyonce were married back in 2008.
