Beckett Drive collision

On May 25, just after 1am, Hamilton Police received reports of a single vehicle crash that took place on the Beckett Drive hill.

The hill provides access to drivers travelling from the downtown area to the Hamilton Mountain.

Police had closed off the road in both directions to conduct their investigation.

A 25 year old man was found and was alone. The vehicle was on its roof with significant damages.

The man was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuires.

It is suspected that alcohol was a factor. At this time no charges have been laid till the investigation is over.

The man is now in stable condition.
