Barrie police investigating drug-related house explosion

Police say an explosion and fire at a Barrie house appears to have been the result of a suspected drug making operation in the garage.

Barrie police and fire responded to the explosion at 59 Collette Crescent at around 9:15pm Friday night.

Police say three men and a woman were taken to hospital.

A man and woman remain in critical condition, while two men are in stable but serious condition.

Charges may be laid depending on what police find when they search the home.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
