Baltimore police officer found not guilty in death of Freddie Gray

Officer Edward Nero, the officer charged with assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment in the death of Freddie Gray, has been found not guilty.
Freddie Gray died April 19, 2015, a week after his neck was broken in the back of a police transport van while he was handcuffed and shackled, but not wearing a seat belt.
His death sparked violent protests in Baltimore in the week following Gray’s death.
