Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival

The 39th annual Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival is a long standing tradition for many.
While it may be a fall festival, the weather today was more like summer.
There were witches and pumpkins, all indications of fall, but t-shirts and sandals were telling a different story.
“I was almost ready to put it away but summer is still hanging on for now,” says one festival-goer.
This day last year the temperature was about 9 degrees. Today it reached around 17.
While some shopped for Christmas decorations, it was anything but frosty. Sweaters were worn around the waist and there was no need for scarves or hats.
On this Thanksgiving one of the things many were thankful for was some more sunshine and a few more warm days.
The festival will be going on all weekend, there is plenty of arts and crafts, food, live music, and activities for the kids
Admission is $6.00 and all children under 14 are free. All of the money raised goes to Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority programs.
