Bad news: another Ontario Covid-19 record

Its not the news Ontario residents wanted to hear on a Sunday morning. The province  has reached a record high of new COVID-19 infections for the second consecutive day. The province logged 1,924 new cases in the past 24 hours. Ontario is also reporting 15 new deaths linked to the virus. Health Minister Christine Elliott says Toronto had the highest
number of new cases at 504, while Peel logged 463 and York Region saw 198. The number of patients in the province’s hospitals decreased to 701, with 204 in intensive care.
