Back to school spending

Parents plan to spend more than ever for back to school supplies this year.

A survey says the average Canadian parent expects to spend about $430 on back to school shopping up 18% from last year. Post-secondary students had the priciest bills, ringing in at almost $600. Most shoppers said they’d try to limit their spending, by shopping around for deals and using coupons.
