Athlete hosts blind soccer camp to honour friend who died of brain cancer

Local athletes took part in blind soccer camp Sunday in honour of a Hamilton teen who died of brain cancer in 2017.
Justin Massotti passed away at the age of 18 following a long battle with brain cancer, which caused him to lose his sight.
He was a talented soccer player, and planned to travel overseas with his friend Luke Mcconnell to pursue a career in the sport.
Mcconnell teamed up with Soccability Canada to organize the blind soccer camp today and raise funds for a Canadian blind soccer team going to Guatemala next year.
Attendees had the chance to play blind soccer and watch a blind soccer match at Tim Hortons Field.
