At least 4 Canadians are unaccounted for as the search continues in Miami after a condominium collapsed on Thursday

Global Affairs has confirmed at least four Canadian citizens are unaccounted for in the condo collapse in Surfside, Florida.

They have also confirmed with us that three Canadian families are affected by the tragedy. Their statement notes that Canadian officials are in contact with local authorities and the families impacted.

Global Affairs will not be able to provide further information due to provisions of the privacy act.
