Ashley Smith’s mother lays blame in daughter’s death

Updated It was another day of difficult testimony from Ashley Smith’s mother at the coroner’s inquiry into her custody death.

As Coralee Smith finished her testimony, the New Brunswick woman placed some blame on who she says is responsible for the death of her 19-year-old daughter. Ever since Ashley died in prison in 2007, her mother had been pushing for this investigation. Lisa Hepfner has more on her testimony.
