Arrests in violent assault

Niagara police have arrested two people and identified a third, thanks to video of three violent robberies in St. Catharines.

Early Saturday, three victims were kicked and punched before being robbed in the city’s downtown core.

All three attacks were captured on surveillance video, which police released Monday.

They received several tips, leading to the arrest of a 22 year old St. Catharines man, and a 16 year old boy.

A woman seen in the video has been identified.
