Arrests in shooting death of Nathan Miller

Arrests have been made in the shooting death of a Toronto man who was gunned down in a Hamilton house in January. The takedown happened yesterday afternoon at Main and Sanford in Hamilton.

3 men have been charged with first degree murde, including a 15 year old. And police are still looking for 2 others

A 15 year old Hamilton boy and 21 year old Mississauga man were arrested during a tense take down wednesday afternoon. They were in a cab near Main and Sanford when police swooped in. One of them tried to run. Both were carrying loaded guns, cocaine and marijuana. They’ve been charged with the murder of 20-year old Nathan Miller

Miller was shot to death at this home on Madison Avenue near Cannon Street on January 8th.. Five men were allowed inside and fired multiple shots

Neighbours say the house is a known drug house and they still see people going in and out of it all the time. They were relieved to hear about the arrests but say the house still continues to be a problem.

Police haven’t confirmed any connection to drugs – but the arrests were made by the gang and weapon unit and the vice and drug unit. They can’t say yet whether there’s any connection to the recent string of shootings in the city.

The Hamilton teen and 21 year old Shamoiey Akindejoye from Mississauga are charged with first degree murder and a number of gun and drug charges. A third man — 20 year old Jemaal Wilson from Toronto is also charged with murder, he’s already in police custody on other charges. Police are still looking for two men who they believe were also involved in Miller’s murder, they aren’t sure if they’re in the Hamilton area.
