Arrests in Hamilton mugging

Two Hamilton men are facing charges after allegedly stealing cash, ID and a cell phone from a friend.

The incident happened in June, when the three met up and walked to an alley between Rosemont Avenue and Sherman Avenue North
.

At the time, the man didn’t report the theft but has since notified police.

27 year old Cory Ireland of Hamilton and 32 year old Charles Wheeler are charged with robbery.
