Arrest warrant issued for Hamilton man wanted in Club 33 shooting last summer

Hamilton police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 29-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting outside the former Club 33 last summer.

Emergency crews found two men and one woman in their 20s with gunshot wounds in the early morning hours of Aug. 25 near the pub located at 33 Bowen Street.

Paramedics brought them to hospital for treatment, with two of them suffering from life-altering injuries.

In an update Thursday, investigators say Cory Parnell of Hamilton is wanted in relation to this targeted shooting on 12 charges, including reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated assault.

Officers are urging Parnell to seek legal counsel and turn himself into police.

People who may see Parnell are told to not approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous.
