An arrest has been made in the Christmas morning hit-and-run that sent a Hamilton teen to hospital with serious injuries.

CHCH has learned from the mother of the victim that on Dec. 26 Hamilton police arrested the driver of the car that hit her son, 16-year-old Lucas Henry.

Henry was struck around 1 a.m. Dec. 25 while crossing Main Street at Crosthwaite Avenue. He had been walking home from his girlfriend’s house in East Hamilton.

On Boxing Day CHCH’s Sean Cowan interviewed Stephanie Gaudette, Lucas Henry’s mother, and she urged the hit-and-run driver to come forward.
