Arrest in St. Catharines robbery

Police in St. Catharines have charged a Toronto man with robbery and use of an imitation firearm.

Officers say 20-year old Jaleel Richards was in the Ontario Street and Pleasant Avenue area when he pointed a fake firearm at the victim, and demanded cash. After robbing the individual, he fled in a vehicle but was later stopped by an OPP officer for a traffic offence and subsequently charged with robbery.
