Arrest in Milton fatal crash

An arrest has been made in a recent fatal crash in Milton.

The crash on May 25th claimed the life of 21 year old Haseeb Kamal of Mississauga.

The driver, 19 year old Eihab Khan of Mississauga, has turned himself in to police in Oakville.

Khan faces seven charges including impaired driving causing death.

He’s been held for bail and is to appear in court Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Halton investigators are still trying to get in touch with the anonymous caller who reported the wreckage but did not remain.

He’s described as possibly in his 30’s or 40’s with a caribbean accent.

The caller’s not considered a factor in the collision but rather a witness who may help with the investigation.
