Arrest in Hamilton assault

Hamilton police have arrested and charged a man after two people were assaulted while trying to break up a fight over the weekend.

The assault occurred on Gage Avenue North near Cannon Street.

A 26 year old woman and a 27 year old man were taken to hospital with cuts to their hands, but later released.

21 year old Dario Dilber faces several charges including assault causing bodily harm and carrying a concealed weapon.
