Arrest in Brantford poppy box thefts

A 39-year-old man from Brantford faces 16 separate theft charges in relation to an investigation of poppy box thefts.

David Michael Kowalchuk faces 32 charges in total.

Brantford police examined video surveillance footage and interviewed a number of witnesses during their investigation.

Kowalchuck was arrested at his home.
