Arrest in Brampton fatal hit and run

A man has turned himself in to police after a fatal hit and run in Brampton.

The accident happened at about 10:30pm Saturday night at Bonnie Braes Drive and Kimborough Hollow, just north of James Potter Road.

An 18-year old woman was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A pick up truck from The Tire Terminal was towed from the scene.

26-year old Steven Richards has been charged failure to remain causing death.
