‘Armed and dangerous’: Man wanted for second-degree murder in Brantford

Brantford police are looking for an “armed and dangerous” man wanted for second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of a man at a Brantford residence yesterday afternoon.
Police responded to a disturbance at a Charlotte Street residence on April 3 around 4:15 p.m., not far from the Brantford train station. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed.

The victim succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
The weapon has been recovered and police have one man in custody for “Accessory after the Fact to Murder”, possessing a dangerous weapon and assault with a weapon. The name of the man arrested has not yet been released.
Police are also looking for 27-year-old Bradley George Saunders who is wanted for second-degree murder.
Saunders is described as Indigenous, 6’2”, approximately 155 pounds and with long dark hair. A clothing or vehicle description is not available at this time.
Police are asking the public to call 911 if anyone sees Saunders or knows his whereabouts. He should not be approached.
The initial investigation has found that the men were known to each other. The stabbing is not believed to be random.
