‘Armed and dangerous’: Hamilton man wanted after Vaughan firearms theft

York Regional Police are looking for an “armed and dangerous” Hamilton man in relation to a break-and-enter in Vaughan where firearms were stolen.

Police responded to a report of a break-in at a commercial building on Jan. 30 in the area of Highway 7 West and Keele Street.

The victim reported that a safe storing firearms was stolen.

Police are looking for 40-year-old Olivia Jorge Alejandro Rodriguez and currently have a warrant out for this arrest.

Rodriguez is wanted for:

  • Break and enter commit
  • Break and enter to steal firearm (3)
  • Disguise with intent
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm (3)
  • Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence

Authorities say a white 2022 Lincoln Navigator with Ontario licence plate DDZA 933 and a grey 2019 Mercedes G-Wagon with licence plate DCXH 143 are associated with Rodriguez.

Officers say Rodriguez is considered armed and dangerous and are warning the public not to approach him.
