Arkells show science rocks

The Ontario Science Centre is getting ready to rock with a new exhibition.

Hamilton band Arkells were on hand to help preview The Science of Rock & Roll. The exhibit will show how the music isn’t just an art form but collaboration of sceince and technology.

There will be artifacts, documentaries and displays, and it was put together by a man who knows his music, radio host Alan Cross.

“We move from 1877 right through to the present. We talk about everything from how an electric guitar works, why an acoustic guitar has a hole in it, what radio’s role was in the whole thing.”

The exhibit officially opens June 11th; it runs until the end of October.
