Argyle Street in Caledonia has reopened following months-long closure

Ontario Provincial Police say Argyle Street in Caledonia has reopened.
The street had been blocked by a school bus and other debris put there by members of the group 1492 Landback Lane.
It was part of a demonstration against a housing development they say is on unceded Haudenosaunee territory.

The group cleared the roadway earlier this week and also left McKenzie Rd., allowing repairs to both roadways to begin.
The repairs on Argyle St. are now complete and vehicles can once again travel along it.
The group is still occupying the housing development.
