Apartment fire displaces 75
About 75 tenants from a St Catharines apartment building had to spend last night in hotel rooms after a suspicious fire.
The sprinkler system contained the fire at one apartment in this building at 21 King Street. It broke out just before 9 last night.
The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office has been called to help Niagara Regional Police and St Catharines Fire department with the investigation. The Fire Marshall’s office is also looking into suspicious barn fires in West Lincoln, and two house fires in St Catharines.
