Another charge against Doodhnaught

The father of a nine-week old baby who is missing and presumed dead is now facing additional charges.

York Regional Police say 31-year-old Ricky Doodhnaught appeared in court Friday, and was charged with indignity to a dead body and failing to provide the necessities of life.

He also faces a previous charge of abduction in violation of a custody order.

The baby’s mother, 23-year-old Nadia Ayyad faces similar charges, as well as obstructing police.

Investigators have said Doodhnaught told them the child died around November first, but the remains of baby George have not been located.
