Another cancer fraud

A St. Catharines woman is facing fraud charges after she allegedly faked having cancer.

Norfolk County OPP say between July 2007 and January 2011, a family met a woman who told them that she had cancer.

They say she asked them for money for medical and personal costs, and over three years was given around $200,000.

37 year old Michelle Meller has been charged with two counts of fraud over $5,000.
