Anniversary of Barry and Honey Sherman murders

Thursday marks one year since the deaths of Toronto billionaires Barry Sherman and Honey Sherman.

The pair were found dead inside their North York home by a real estate agent in 2017. They were in the process of selling their mansion.

Detectives initially believed it was a case of murder-suicide, but then ruled the couple was murdered.

Barry Sherman founded the pharmaceutical giant Apotex.

The two were well-known philanthropists and donated millions to institutions like hospitals and universities.

Toronto Police have remained tight-lipped about the ongoing investigation.

Meanwhile, the Sherman family has hired its own team of private forensic experts.

In October, the family offered up a $10 million reward to find the killer or killers.
